The Fair Play Foundation are delighted to announce that we have received Scottish Government funding for another years work during the financial year 24-25 on our Colours of our Scarves programme. The funding will guarantee workshop provision for centres of higher and further education across Scotland for students studying sport related subjects. Furthermore, the continued funding will secure our Club Development programme offering local sports organisations the opportunity to upskill their own grass roots coaching staff and volunteers.
Mark Reid CEO of the Foundation said “We are excited and thankful to secure another 12 months funding from the Scottish Government that will allow the team to continue their work in providing assistance and guidance for a wide number of partner organisations across Scotland ranging from local sport clubs to universities, examining and tackling prejudice within sport. Sport should be an environment where everyone has the right to observe or participate at whatever level and enjoy without fear of prejudice and or intolerance, our staff are eager to continue and build upon the work of previous years with all our partner groups and look forward to a busy and exciting 24-25”.
